It was such a good discussion to have.Comments
3rd Nov 2017, 2:41pmHello Lower Academy Gladiators. You picked up lots of interesting points in your discussion. What aspects of the word 'family' apply to Isaiah?28th Feb 2018, 9:07amHey we loved Isiah but we love how the characters of Miracle (Ira) and Zac are developing in Little Bits of Sky. Last night we only read four pages and then discussions hit about everything from care home living, school life for care children and Mrs Clanks. Great book choices so far. -

2nd Oct 2017, 4:57pmHello Hartley Brook gladiators. Home and Family appear to be such simple, straightforward words, don't they? But they can be used in lots of ways and have different meanings for different people. I wonder how the words are used in the context of Word of Mouse?3rd Oct 2017, 9:33amYou can revisit these words and their meanings when you read Malkin Moonlight. Have you seen the Maggie Dooley poem in the resources section? It really helps to explore the concept of family. -

This is our fantastic bunch of gladiators. I am so proud of how much they covered in the hour we shared and then hearing about the book as they read it in the week. A brilliant idea with a side order of fun.
