Ask an Author

The first round of Ask and Author recordings are now available for you to share with your groups. Access via the Running Your Reading Gladiators Group pages (the link can be found at the top of your Year group page) or as a web resource on the relevant book guide page.

We had some super questions from Year 2 Gladiators and some fascinating answers from Ben Manley, Sally Pomme Clayton; year 3 for Matt Goodfellow, Chrissie Sains and Dianne Hofmeyr; year 4 for Frank Cottrell Boyce, Steve Tasane and SE Durrant; year 5 for Thomas Harding, Julia Green, and Catherine Fisher and for year 6 Kiran Millwood Hargrave.

Next term we will be speaking to : Dom Conlon, Atinuke,  Chrissie Gittens, Chris Riddell , Valerie Bloom & Ken Wilson Max, Nizrana Farook, Kirsty Applebaum and Hilary McKay. If your group is reading a title by one of these authors, please think of some interesting questions to put to them.

Please send your questions to as soon as you think of them.

Coming Soon: Add a Review

Groups will soon be able to  add their own review of the Reading Gladiators’ titles.  We will announce when this facility is available via the Blog.
